i ♥ chee soon fitzgerald
Today I dropped by one of my favorite Sydney Shops Chee Soon Fitzgerald. I always enjoy popping in for a chat with the boys they really make all their customers feel special (and not just magazine stylists!). They sell some of my favorite things, colourful dibern crockery, ittala home wares and marimekko fabrics to name a few.

cover try/kitchen shoot
So today I was shooting with super cool photographer and funny guy Nick Scott and his trusty assistant Ross, a shoot with these boys is always heaps of fun and we always have a great day-today was no exception.
I started my day at The Bourke Street Bakery (for a coffee) and walked past where Ici et La’s first Bourke street store used to be (lucky their bigger newer store is just around the corner)

Nick is a great photographer and it was a potential cover try for REAL living- so stay tuned. It was a BIG day, sun, rain, late deliveries and wrong deliveries (I’m not mentioning any names!)
It’s important as a stylist to keep calm and carry on, but as always we got there and had a great shoot and plenty of laughs, here is a little peek at out day…
PS I had a spare moment to take a bounce on the trampoline at the house we were shooting at FUN!
garlands florist
I LOVE fresh flowers, they add colour and fragrance at home and are always a perfect finishing touch to a magazine shoot.
Today I also popped in to one of my favorite florists in Sydney; Garlands (Monday is always a great day to do so as they have just been to the markets)
I always love popping in and seeing Ferdinando and Tamara- the really know their stuff! and their flowers always make me smile.
If I wasn’t a stylist perhaps I would try being a Florist!
PS Gardenia’s, Peonie Roses, Garden Roses and Dahlias as some of my favorite flowers.
my day- monday
I love living closer to the office and walking to work, being greeted by the Centre Point Tower, as i walk through Hyde Park.
I have a shoot tomorrow (Tuesday) so today I raced around collecting a few bits and pieces for the shoot.
Garden Life http://www.gardenlife.com.au/ (a very cool and urban plant and outdoor store) and Davidmetnicole http://www.davidmetnicole.com/ (cool vintage store – I love the plywood letters) were 2 of my stops today.
