lifeinstyle gift fair

So today I headed to Lifeinstyle with my office wife Natalie Walton we raced around the fair checking out all the stalls and saw lots of wonderful new things and grabbed catalogs, brochures and business cards left and right!! it’s also a great chance to catch up face to face with lots of people I normally speak to on email…

here is a taste of what I saw today…

monday shoot

It was pretty humid in Sydney today and I totally wasn’t dressed for the heat (it was pouring with rain when I left for work)

Today we were shooting for the next issue, with our Art Director Chris behind the camera, it’s great shooting with the art director-we get ALL the shots he needs for the spread. Acting deputy art director Andrea came along too.

Note to self- always have your towel and bathers in the car especially when the house you’re shooting at has a pool. I would have LOVED to have taken a dip today
Well I at least made the most of the trampoline! and Biscuit the dog was super cute!

cover try/kitchen shoot

So today I was shooting with super cool photographer and funny guy Nick Scott and his trusty assistant Ross, a shoot with these boys is always heaps of fun and we always have a great day-today was no exception.

I started my day at The Bourke Street Bakery (for a coffee) and walked past where Ici et La’s first Bourke street store used to be (lucky their bigger newer store is just around the corner)
http://www.icietla.com.au/

Nick is a great photographer and it was a potential cover try for REAL living- so stay tuned. It was a BIG day, sun, rain, late deliveries and wrong deliveries (I’m not mentioning any names!)
It’s important as a stylist to keep calm and carry on, but as always we got there and had a great shoot and plenty of laughs, here is a little peek at out day…

PS I had a spare moment to take a bounce on the trampoline at the house we were shooting at FUN!

first house shoot of the year

Today I was shooting with talented photographer Michael Wee, it was very hot and the house had a pool-if only there was time for a swim.

Its fun to have people in our shoots, today we inlcuded the family, thier kids and their cat and dog!

Michael’s partner the equally talented Andrea Healy popped across too (she is the acting deputy art director at real living) heres a little peek at our day… without giving too much away!
