Stylist, designer and Author Sibella Court has moved her store The Society Inc to a bigger and better warehouse space. The much larger space is filled with all kinds of wonderful things small and large, home wares , furniture and all kinds of cool and curious things.

The store continues to showcase her signature eclectic, bowerbird style and theres certainly lots to look at. Head in store for her signature surfboard collaborations, books, hardware, Murobond paints and more.

A visit is a must and you’re guaranteed to find something wonderful.

MJG loves to pop into Scout House when he is in Melbourne, it’s very close to where he stays and is one of his favourite stores. He was rather excited to be asked to pop in and sign some copies of his book A Place Called Home in store for store Owner Orlando. Scout House not only has one of the best mixes of new and vintage wares it also has a super cute new shop dog the gorgeous Matilda.

west elm is coming!

West Elm is set to open its first Australian location in Bondi Junction May this year and will soon announce it’s second location here in Australia.

The American Home retailer is headed by New York based Aussie Vanessa Holden, who is their Creative Director. Mr Jason Grant has long admired this image makers work – Vanessa worked in Magazines here in Australia before moving to the USA. Vanessa is here briefly in Australia and Mr Jason Grant was lucky enough to catch up with her and talk about their imminent arrival and also talk about having a swim also!

If you didn’t already know Lyn Gardener has one on the best Vintage Stores around and also has an amazing eye for style. The store is filled with hard to find treasures which Lyn sources from all over.

Yet another Melbourne showroom making the move north joining the likes of Mark and Louella Tuckey, Rachel Castle and MrjasonGrant himself making the move to sunny Sydney.

Showcasing an excellent collection of modern outdoor furniture including the collabotation with Adam Goodrem the showroom is well worth a visit.

MrJasonGrant also over the weekend visited Canary Yellow Traders in Palm Beach. A very cute little store owned by the very lovely Shaz she is so lovely. Its filled with a mixture of fashion and homewares all with a distinct stamp of personality. Natural wonder with a little bit of chic!
