Last week you may have spotted that I was holidaying in Byron Bay (A well earned break) it’s one of my favourite destinations to visit and luckily only a short flight away!

Of course we stayed at The Atlantic Byron Bay (my favourite place to stay in Byron Bay) The Atlantic simply is paradise. Set amongst a tropical corner at the back of town. I love staying here in in fact I have stayed here enough now to feel a part of the Atlantic family – the owners and staff are some of the best people you will find!

We lucky to be among some of the first to stay in their latest addition Albatross Inn. A collection of private en-suite cabins. The rooms are spacious and light and certainly don’t feel like a standard guest room they are complete with private terraces and outdoor showers. Ajoining is a shade shack a perfect spot to prepare your own breakfast , have a drink or a BBQ. This new lodging at the back of the property feels really private. I love the use of colour and the evolution of the decorating by owner Kimberly Amos and her talented family along with favourite local makers and suppliers – there’s touches of the sea and desert combined to create a cool but relaxed place to stay.

The Atlantic family love to Travel, you can see their inspiration everywhere.  There’s something magic that happens when you check in here – suddenly you’re on Atlantic (Byron) time, relaxed with all you need to think about is where you want to swim and where you want to eat or get a drink!

There is only one Atlantic! and it is a special place.
