merry christmas

Christmas is coming! and it’s time to get festive and to splurge on some gifts. I have never been to a Christmas tree farm but when Ferdinando from Garlands Florist asked me if I wanted to tag along last Friday I said yes and decided to style a little Christmasy something whilst there.

Personally am on a quest to unearth original creative talent / objects / stuff. I get off on things I’ve never seen before.

Favorite place for breakfast/dinner? – when not adjacent to my BBQ or friends’ dining tables it’s M deli (breakfast) & The Corner Store is a hot new dinner fave….

Favourite Movie?being movie obsessed, impossible to nail it to one. last night re-watched “Picnic At Hanging Rock” by Peter Weir, 1975. Incredibly shot, exceptionally scored & hauntingly beautiful decades later. At school they actually took us for a picnic at hanging rock – we ran through calling “Miranda, Miranda….”. OK we were young. & no-one got lost!

Favourite Possession at home? – aside from collection of records / shoes / astro boys / lights /art & skateboards – it’d have to be resident hound OLIVE

Have you met Miss Jones? I have and she is fabulous!
One of my most exciting finds at a Gift Fair awhile back was the Have you met Miss Jones stand.

http://www.haveyoumetmissjones.com.au/

Working as an Interiors Stylist for a monthly magazine is all about finding the newest most exciting products and in the case of REAL living Magazine affordable as well. Jennifer’s range tick both of those boxes and I LOVE her bone china range. I’m lucky enough to have had a peek at her new range being released at the upcoming GHA gift show in Sydney.

PS you can read more about her in the March issue on REAL Living Magazine on sale NOW!

Interiors: Industrial furniture store Guy Matthews in Fitzroy, Melbourne. Each piece tells a story and I literally have to tear myself away before I do some serious credit card damage.

Fashion: Net-a-porter and the Outnet. There is nothing like shopping when the Aussie dollar is strong and then you get the excitement of little packages arriving at the office.
